Program Benefits
for Participating BASS
U.S. State and
Canadian Provincial Federations
Promotional Package Purchase. The State BASS Federations may purchase
one (1) Triton/Mercury boat package at a promotional discount per year. State/Provincial tax will be added to all
orders if applicable. The price of this promotional package will be 50%-off
MSRP. Rigging components for promotional
packages must be purchased and ordered directly through Triton Boats.
President Package Purchase.
State Federation Presidents can purchase a Triton/Mercury package at a
Team discount. Additionally, Mercury
Marine will offer a $1,000 rebate (V6 purchases only, excludes Racing and
Verado engines) to the President for this purchase. To obtain $1,000 rebate Mercury will need a
copy of bill-of-sale, warranty registration or serial number. All above information must be validated,
prior to rebate fulfillment.
Outboard Oil and Propeller Purchases. The State BASS Federation may purchase Two
Thousand Dollars ($2,000) worth of outboard oil and propellers from Mercury
Marine at 50%-off MSRP. Freight charges will apply. State/Provincial tax will apply where
applicable.
Complimentary Product Shipments. The State BASS Federation will receive the
following items, shipped at no charge upon signing this sponsorship agreement:
• Two (2) cases of Mercury Precision oil.
• Twenty-four (24) hats and/or patches from each of the BASS
Federation Alliance companies.
• Three (3) banners and/or pennant strings from each Alliance
company.
• One (1) ad slick including all BASS Federation Alliance companies.
Team Shirts. The State BASS Federation’s fourteen (12
team angler members + 2 alternates)
anglers will be provided with fourteen
Triton/Mercury team shirts (will also include Lowrance and MotorGuide logos) to
be worn on the final day of the Divisional Championship and on the final day of
the Federation Championship.
Apparel. The State BASS Federation will have access
to purchase personalized logo’d apparel from the respective BASS Federation
Alliance companies merchandise catalogs at discounted prices to be determined
by each Alliance member company.
The Participating Federations will receive
a potential $650 for each of the 12 Team Members who go to the Divisional
Championships if they own and have used a BASS Federation Alliance product to
qualify for their respective Divisional event.
The Participating Federations will receive
a potential $1,300
if their State BASS
Federation qualifier for the Federation Championship owns and used a BASS Federation
Alliance product to qualify for the Federation Championship.
The Participating Federation Award. The State BASS Federation (with a signed
Alliance agreement) that has the highest finishing angler in the Federation
Championship will receive one (1) Triton Tr20X, (1) Mercury 200L EFI (3-Litre),
(1) Lowrance LMS-330C, and (1) MotorGuide 24V boat package combination.
Note:
Participating Federation must have signed up to participate with this “BASS
Federation Alliance” program, and agree to comply with the program terms and
conditions to receive benefits noted above.
Program Benefits for BASS U.S. State
Federation and Canadian Provincial Members
The
BASS Federation Alliance will give a potential $2,300 To a Federation member who
owns and used a BASS Federation Alliance product to win a State
Federation Championship.
State Federation Championship is defined as the last event that a State holds to finalize their 12-man Team and/or crown a State Champion.
*If a Triton owner wins this bonus they will automatically qualify for the Triton Gold Elite Fish-off…a no-entry fee, one day $80,000 all cash tournament. See Triton Gold program for further details.
The BASS Federation Alliance will give a
potential $650 To each of the twelve (12) State BASS Federation team members who
go to the Divisional Championships and own and have used a BASS Federation
Alliance product to qualify for their respective Divisional event.
The BASS Federation Alliance will give a
potential $2,000 to the Federation Angler who owns and used a BASS Federation
Alliance product to qualify for the Federation Championship.
Federation Championship 1st Place Bonus
Award (potential
$35,500). If the winner of the Federation Championship qualified for that
event owning and using one of the BASS Federation Alliance products, the BASS
Federation Alliance will pay the following benefits.
Federation Championship BASS Open Awards. The Federation Championship angler who is
the winner (1st place) in their division, and owns and uses a
Triton/Mercury/Lowrance/MotorGuide package to qualify for this event, is entitled
to receive free entry Fees for the entire BASS Open Tournament
Trail Division of their choice for the 2005 season. ($3,000 maximum entry fee benefit only, no
cash value) The angler must commit to fishing that entire division for the
following season, and must confirm such intention to the BASS Federation
Director within 14 days after the Federation Championship. Also, the angler
agrees to use a Triton/Mercury/Lowrance/MotorGuide package for the practice and
tournament events to the maximum extent the BASS rules allow. This angler will
also receive a promotional clothing package from Triton, Mercury, Lowrance, and
MotorGuide at no charge.
Bassmaster Classic Bonus Program
The BASS Federation Alliance will give a
potential $60,000 To the Federation Championship Classic-qualifying divisional
angler who goes on to win the Bassmaster Classic if he both owns and uses a
BASS Federation Alliance product to qualify for the Federation Championship.
Note: Must still own Alliance Company products as
of the final Classic competition day to be eligible for the above Bassmaster
Classic Bonus Program benefits. Proof of
current ownership will be required.
BASS Federation members who purchase a new
Triton/Mercury/Lowrance/MotorGuide package will receive:

$500
rebate from Mercury Marine (V-6 engines only, excludes Racing and Verado

Note: To
obtain the above Retail Purchase Bonus Program benefits you must complete a
Federation Alliance Retail Purchase Bonus Form, which needs to includes bill-of
sale, warranty registration confirmation, and a photocopy of your current BASS
Federation membership card.
BASS Federation
Alliance product purchases by the State BASS Federation member must take place
before the applicable tournament(s) dates. Only then will the State BASS
Federation or State BASS Federation member be eligible for the applicable
benefits outlined in this document. This proof of purchase must include either
a copy of the product registration, or copy of the bill of sale verifying
member ownership of the Alliance product (including serial numbers) before the applicable tournament dates.
BASS
Federation members receive Alliance “member” benefits regardless of whether or
not his State signs-on with the BASS Federation Alliance.
Terms and Conditions
Of this program presented by the BASS Federation Alliance
BASS Federation Alliance company members
shall be given “official sponsor” benefits and declared the official sponsors
of the State BASS Federation. The benefits are listed in the following
sections.
The State BASS Federation agrees to display
the BASS Federation Alliance company banners at all Chapter functions - banners
to be provided by the BASS Federation Alliance companies.
The State BASS Federation agrees to
include the most up-to-date BASS Federation Alliance member company logos on
all Federation publications, as well as on all tournament and raffle brochures,
posters, and other related materials where State BASS Federation and National
BASS sponsors are listed. Copies of all such materials are to be forwarded to
the BASS Federation Alliance companies.
The State BASS Federation agrees to
feature one (1) BASS Federation Alliance Advertisement
(provided by the BASS Federation Alliance)
in each Federation publication/newsletter and/or
State BASS Federation internet web site,
as well as periodic press releases on the BASS Federation
Alliance companies’ products. For
Federation publications/newsletters distributed four (4) times a
year or fewer, the advertisement will be
full page; five (5) times a year or more, the advertisement will be a minimum
of 1/2 page.
The State BASS Federation agrees to
provide the BASS Federation Alliance a summary of the number of anglers at each
Federation championship, as well as the number and brand of the boats, engines,
trolling motors, and electronics used by these anglers.
The State BASS Federation agrees that all
BASS Federation Alliance promotional packages purchased under the terms of this
program will be used only for State BASS Federation tournaments, fund-raisers,
or Charitable events/activities. As such, the purchase of said products for
service or maintenance purposes, or for resale is strictly prohibited.
BASS Federation Alliance product purchases
by the State BASS Federation member must take place before the applicable
tournament(s) dates. Only then will the State BASS Federation or State BASS
Federation member be eligible for the applicable benefits outlined in this
document. This proof of purchase must include either a copy of the product
registration, or copy of the bill of sale verifying member ownership of the Alliance product
(including serial numbers) before the applicable tournament dates.
The BASS Federation Alliance shall retain
sole and final judgment in all matters concerning the
qualification and awarding of any and all
the BASS Federation Alliance Federation awards.
This program cannot be used in conjunction
with any other offer made by Triton Boats or Mercury Marine.
This program is separate
from, and will have no impact on, the pre-existing annual Lowrance Electronics
BASS Federation Program. Benefits from
the existing Lowrance program will continue in full as outlined in the current
annual contracts. Benefits from the new
Alliance Program may not be combined, in any manner, with the pre-existing
Lowrance BASS Federation Program.
This program offer is applicable to
participating BASS State Federations in the U.S.A. and Provincial Federations
in Canada only. All benefit values that are defined in this program are based
on U.S. currency, no exchange rate conversions will apply. To participate, this
program must be signed by the State BASS Federation President and delivered to
the BASS Federation office (BASS Federation Attention: Mr. Don Corkran P.O. Box
17900 Montgomery, AL 36141-0219) before your Chapter Divisional tournament
begins, or before October 1, 2004 which ever date occurs first.
The term of this Sponsorship Agreement
shall begin on the date this document is signed and shall conclude in 2005 in
conjunction with the BASS Federation Championship.
Terms and Conditions
Of this program presented by the BASS Federation Alliance (continued)
The State BASS Federation agrees not to
disclose to any third party the details or conditions of this program, nor any other
proprietary information obtained as a result of its relationship with the BASS
Federation Alliance.
The State BASS Federation is not an agent
of any of the BASS Federation Alliance companies, and will not represent
themselves as such. In no event shall said Federation enter into any contract
on behalf of the BASS Federation Alliance companies, nor seek to bind the BASS
Federation Alliance in any fashion.
The Agreement shall be immediately revoked
with all obligation terminated and the Products immediately returned to the
appropriate Alliance Company if the State BASS Federation uses the Products in
a manner inconsistent with the Product Information.
The violation of one or more of the terms
of this Agreement or the failure to comply with any condition, duty, or
obligation under this Agreement by any party shall be an event of default and
shall entitle the non-breaching party, at its sole election, to deliver a
written notice of default and intent to terminate to the defaulting party. The
defaulting party shall have ten (10) days following the receipt of such a
notice of default to cure the default. If the party receiving the notice of
default cures the default on or before the tenth (10th) day after the receipt
of the notice of default, the notice shall be deemed withdrawn. If the party
receiving the notice of default does not cure the default on or before the
tenth (10th) day after the receipt of the notice of default, the non-defaulting
party may, at its sole election, terminate this Agreement by delivering written
notice of termination to the defaulting party.
This Agreement may be immediately
terminated by any party upon insolvency of the other party, the filing of a
petition of voluntary bankruptcy under any chapter of the bankruptcy laws of
the United States and Canada, the institution of proceedings to adjudge the
other as a bankrupt in an involuntary proceeding, the appointment by a court of
a receiver, trustee or dissolution.
The State BASS Federation shall indemnify,
defend, and hold all BASS Federation Alliance companies, its Employees,
dealers, directors, officers, affiliated companies, agents and insurance
carriers harmless from and against any and all claims or cause of action
asserted against, imposed upon or suffered by, arising out of, or Resulting
from the State BASS Federation obligations pursuant to this Agreement or
arising out of the State BASS Federation’s use of any of the BASS Federation
Alliance companies’ products. The protection provided by this Indemnification
clause shall survive the expiration or termination of this Agreement.
Yes, Our State BASS Federation would like to participate in the BASS Federation program as presented by the BASS Federation Alliance. We Understand and will honor the terms and conditions of this program as defined In this document.
